Terms of service
Effective date: October 22, 2026
Welcome to Shop a Show, located at www.shopashow.com (the “Site”). Shop a Show is owned and operated by Knocking Inc. (“Knocking,” “Shop a Show,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site, your purchases of products sold by Shop a Show, and any related emails, text alerts, tools, and features we provide (together, the “Services”).
Please read Section 15 carefully. It requires most disputes to be resolved by binding individual arbitration and waives class actions and jury trials, unless you opt out as described there.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using the Services, placing an order, subscribing to alerts, or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Return Policy, and Shipping Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. How Shopping on Shop a Show Works
Shop a Show helps you discover products featured or discussed by content creators (“Creators”) on podcasts, YouTube shows, livestreams, and other digital shows. There are two ways to buy a product you find on Shop a Show:
- Products sold by Shop a Show. Some products are sold directly by Knocking on the Site. For these purchases, Knocking is the seller and merchant of record, and Section 5 applies.
- Products sold on Third-Party Stores. Some links take you to webstores on other websites that Knocking does not own or operate (“Third-Party Stores”). Any purchase or other transaction you make there is solely between you and the Third-Party Store, which is responsible for its products, pricing, payment, taxes, shipping, returns, refunds, warranties, product safety, and customer service. Its own terms and privacy policy apply, and we cannot cancel or change an order you place there.
Product pages and the checkout page show whether a product is sold by Shop a Show or by a Third-Party Store. Prices, availability, discount codes, and offers that the Site shows for Third-Party Store products come from those stores and may be out of date; the Third-Party Store’s website controls.
3. How We Earn Money (Affiliate Disclosure)
Shop a Show earns money from the products it sells. We also may earn a fee or commission, directly from a Third-Party Store or through an affiliate network, when you click a link, visit a Third-Party Store, sign up, make a purchase, or take another qualifying action. Creators may earn a commission on purchases made through their links or codes, whether on Shop a Show or on a Third-Party Store. None of this increases the price you pay.
These business relationships may affect which products appear on the Site and where they appear. Creators’ statements reflect their own opinions; Shop a Show does not independently test every product and does not guarantee any Third-Party Store, Creator, or claim.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is older, and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
5. Buying Products Sold by Shop a Show
(a) Seller. When you buy a product sold by Shop a Show, you are buying from Knocking, which is the merchant of record. Products may be supplied by the brands that make them or by other suppliers, and some may be shipped directly by them.
(b) Product information and pricing. We try to describe products and prices accurately, but errors can occur, and product images may differ slightly from the actual product. Prices, promotions, and availability can change without notice. If a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, we may correct the error and cancel any affected order, even after you receive an order confirmation.
(c) Orders. Your order is an offer to buy. An order confirmation means we received your order, not that we accepted it. We may accept, refuse, limit, or cancel any order or quantity, including for suspected fraud, resale, or unavailability. If we cancel an order after you have been charged, we will refund the amount charged for the cancelled items.
(d) Payment and taxes. You agree to pay the prices, shipping charges, and applicable taxes shown at checkout, using a payment method you are authorized to use. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. Digital wallets (such as Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay) are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
(e) Shipping and delivery. Shipping options, charges, and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates. If we cannot ship your order within the time stated (or, if no time is stated, within 30 days), we will notify you and give you the option to cancel for a full refund, as required by law. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the product is delivered to the carrier.
(f) Returns and refunds. Returns and refunds are governed by our Return Policy. Some products may have brand-specific return terms, which will be shown on the product page.
(g) Warranties and product use. Some products come with a warranty from the manufacturer, which the manufacturer, not Knocking, is responsible for honoring. Products are sold for personal use, not resale. Always follow product instructions, warnings, and labels.
(h) Promotions and discount codes. Discount codes and promotions are subject to their stated terms, may be limited, cannot be combined unless stated, have no cash value, and may be changed or ended at any time.
6. Accounts and Alerts
If we offer accounts, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
If you place an order, we will send you messages about it, such as order confirmations and shipping updates.
If you sign up for email or text (SMS/MMS) alerts, you agree to receive recurring marketing messages from Shop a Show at the email address or mobile number you provide, including messages sent with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel text messages or HELP for help, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Please allow a few business days for opt-out requests to take effect.
7. Creators, Brands, and Third-Party Stores
Creators take part in Shop a Show under the separate Shop a Show Creator Terms of Use. Knocking uses Growi, a service operated by Grow Inc. (“Growi”), to set up creator accounts, track sales and referrals, and pay Creators’ commissions. Creators sign up through Growi and agree to Growi’s own terms, and all commission and payment matters are solely between each Creator and Growi. Brands and Third-Party Stores work with Shop a Show under separate written agreements with Knocking. Those agreements govern their participation and control if they conflict with these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The Services and their content, including text, graphics, logos, design, software, and the selection and arrangement of materials, are owned by or licensed to Knocking and are protected by intellectual property laws. Creator and show names, brand names, Third-Party Store names, and other third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply that any Creator, brand, or Third-Party Store sponsors or endorses Shop a Show, or that we endorse them, unless we say so.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9. Feedback and Submissions
If you send us comments, ideas, reviews, or other materials (“Submissions”), you grant Knocking a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, copy, modify, display, and distribute them for any purpose without compensation to you. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your Submissions do not violate any law or anyone’s rights.
10. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose, including placing orders with payment information you are not authorized to use, or buying products for resale;
- scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Services using bots, spiders, or other automated means, or use any content from the Services to train or improve artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, without our written consent;
- generate fake or fraudulent clicks, visits, or conversions, or remove, alter, replace, or interfere with Shop a Show links, tracking codes, or attribution (including through browser extensions, scripts, or coupon tools);
- interfere with or disrupt the Services, bypass security measures, or place an unreasonable load on our systems;
- copy, frame, mirror, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services, except as allowed by law;
- use our name, logos, or trademarks (including in domain names, keywords, or paid search ads) without our written permission; or
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
11. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Services link to Third-Party Stores, Creators’ content on other platforms, and other third-party sites, tools, and platforms that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, products, policies, or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION ON THEM IS ACCURATE. EXCEPT AS STATED IN OUR RETURN POLICY OR REQUIRED BY LAW, KNOCKING GIVES NO WARRANTY FOR PRODUCTS IT SELLS BEYOND ANY WARRANTY PROVIDED BY THE MANUFACTURER. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING ANY PRODUCT, SERVICE, OR TRANSACTION OFFERED BY A THIRD-PARTY STORE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE EXCLUSIONS, SO SOME MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KNOCKING AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES, ANY PRODUCT, ANY THIRD-PARTY STORE, OR ANY TRANSACTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) US$100. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Knocking and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your Submissions, or your violation of any law or the rights of others.
15. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class Action Waiver
(a) Informal resolution. Before filing a claim, you and we each agree to send the other a written notice describing the dispute and to try to resolve it informally for at least 30 days.
(b) Binding arbitration. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services that is not resolved informally will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this Section. We will pay filing, administration, and arbitrator fees to the extent required by the AAA rules or applicable law.
(c) Class action and jury trial waiver. Claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial.
(d) Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court for misuse of intellectual property or for data security or scraping violations.
(e) Mass filings. If 25 or more similar arbitration demands are filed by or with the help of the same counsel or coordinated group, they will be administered in batches as permitted by the AAA rules.
(f) Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice within 30 days after you first accept these Terms to privacy@knocking.com (subject line: “Arbitration Opt-Out”) or to the mailing address in Section 21. Your notice must include your name, address, and email.
(g) Severability. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable, the arbitration agreement in this Section will not apply to that dispute. This Section survives termination of these Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except that Section 15 is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. Any dispute not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
17. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice that meets the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)) to our designated agent: Knocking Inc., Attn: Copyright Agent, 357 Commerce Drive, PB 320599, Fairfield, CT 06825; email: help@shopashow.com. We may remove allegedly infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.
18. Changes to the Services and These Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We may also update these Terms, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes, for example by posting the updated Terms with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect means you accept them.
19. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end your access at any time, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Sections 3, 8, 9, and 12 through 20 survive termination.
20. General
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Return Policy, and Shipping Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Knocking about the Services. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You agree that we may send notices and other communications to you electronically.
