Privacy policy
Effective date: October 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Knocking Inc. and its affiliates (“Knocking,” “Shop a Show,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, and share personal information through www.shopashow.com and our related emails, text alerts, and features (the “Services”).
Knocking sells some products directly on the Site, and the Site also links to webstores on other websites that Knocking does not own or operate (“Third-Party Stores”). This Privacy Policy covers purchases you make from Shop a Show. Information you give a Third-Party Store, including your order and payment details, is governed by that store’s privacy policy, not this one. Information about content creators who join our creator program is covered by the separate Shop a Show Creator Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. For example, your email address or mobile number when you sign up for alerts; your name and message when you contact us; account details if you create an account; and business contact information if you contact us about working with Shop a Show.
Order information. When you buy from Shop a Show, we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, the products you buy, your order and return history, and your communications with customer support.
Payment information. Payment card details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processors, which handle them under Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS). We do not store full card numbers. We receive only limited details, such as card type, the last four digits, and billing address.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, we and our partners collect information such as your IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, cookie and device identifiers, pages and products viewed, links clicked, the show or website that referred you, and the date and time of your visits.
Information from Third-Party Stores and partners. Third-Party Stores and affiliate networks tell us when a visit we referred leads to a purchase, sign-up, or other action. These reports may include a transaction or order ID, product, order value, and commission, along with the click or referral identifier. We do not receive your payment information for purchases on Third-Party Stores. We may also receive information from advertising and analytics partners, social media platforms, and service providers.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- operate, maintain, and improve the Services and personalize what you see;
- process, ship, and deliver your orders, handle payments, returns, and refunds, and provide customer support;
- track referrals to Third-Party Stores so we can be paid, and attribute purchases to the Creators whose links or codes led to them so their commissions can be paid;
- send alerts and marketing you have requested, and respond to your questions;
- measure performance and understand how the Services are used;
- advertise Shop a Show and measure our advertising, including cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising;
- detect and prevent fraud (including payment fraud and fraudulent clicks), abuse, and security incidents; and
- comply with the law, enforce our Terms of Use, and carry out a merger, acquisition, or other corporate transaction.
We may also create aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you and use it for any lawful purpose.
3. Cookies, Tracking, and Affiliate Links
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies. When you click a product link, the link usually contains a tracking identifier so the Third-Party Store or affiliate network can recognize that you came from Shop a Show. Third-Party Stores and affiliate networks may also set their own cookies on your device under their own privacy policies.
We use these technologies for:
- Strictly necessary purposes: to run the Site, keep your cart and checkout working, keep the Site secure, and prevent fraud;
- Analytics: for example, Google Analytics, to understand how the Site is used;
- Affiliate tracking: Third-Party Stores and affiliate networks, to attribute referrals and purchases; and
- Advertising and marketing: for example, Google Ads and our email and SMS providers, to deliver and measure ads and messages.
Our providers may change over time. You can ask us for a current list at privacy@knocking.com. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features, including referral credit for the shows you support, may not work properly.
4. How We Share Information
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers that host the Site and checkout, process payments, ship orders, prevent fraud, send messages, provide analytics, or support our operations under contract. This includes Growi (operated by Grow Inc.), which receives order details such as order ID, products, and order value so it can attribute purchases to Creators and pay their commissions;
- Brands and suppliers that fulfill orders, which receive your name, shipping address, and order details so they can ship your order. They may use your contact information for their own marketing only if you opt in;
- Third-Party Stores and affiliate networks, to attribute and confirm referrals, clicks, and conversions;
- Creators, only in aggregated or de-identified form (for example, how many clicks or purchases their content drove), never your contact information without your consent;
- Advertising and analytics partners, as described in Section 3;
- Our affiliates, under this Privacy Policy;
- Authorities and others, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- Buyers or successors in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets; and
- Others with your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell your email address or phone number to brands or Third-Party Stores. Some of the sharing above, especially for targeted advertising, may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain U.S. state laws. You can opt out as described in Section 5.
5. Your Choices

- Do Not Sell or Share / targeted advertising: email privacy@knocking.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share,” call us toll-free at +1 888-546-3297, or write to the address in Section 12. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out request where required by law.
- Interest-based ads: you can also use industry opt-out tools from the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info).
- Cookies: adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
6. U.S. State Privacy Rights

- correct inaccurate personal information;

- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling;

To make a request, email privacy@knocking.com or call +1 888-546-3297. We will verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof of the agent’s authority. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
